Ellie Kim is the Certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS) with first place honors. She studied history and culture as well as food recipe creation from around the world as a cook at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). After graduation, as an open member of New York’s Todd English’s Olive and La Grenouille, and Boston’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel, she experienced food. Also she completed Intensive Sommelier Training at International Culinary Center New York NY. Her career expanded then through food distribution as well. At the Trump Club and Italian restaurant ‘Felidia’, through concentration and substantial practice such as wine pairing-services, staff training, cellar management, cocktail development, menu updates, etc., those places satisfied both themselves and their customers. In addition to the past 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry, she aims to unleash a new interpretation and enthusiasm for food and beverages that she knows will be challenging.
